v22.3Coming Soon
Duplicate Control and Accent Colors
Coming soon — submitted to Apple for review
Version 22.3 puts you in control of duplicates in your playlists. Songs already in a playlist are skipped when you add them again, and a new action cleans up the repeats you already have.
- Library - A Skip Duplicates switch when adding to a playlist, on by default, so songs already in the playlist are not added again. You now see a confirmation after every add.
- Library - Remove Duplicates, a new action on your playlists, keeps the first copy of each song and removes the rest
- Player - Swipe down on the now-playing strip at the top of the Queue, Lyrics or Mixer screen to return to the player
- Interface - Accent Color presets under Settings > Interface, plus a custom color picker
- App - The purchase screen now shows up front that Pro is available as a one-time purchase as well as a subscription
- Library - The empty library screen now lists where you can import music from
- Library - Cover art in the Add to Playlist picker is now square and sharper
- CarPlay - Connects faster with large Files libraries
- Library - The "…" button on list rows no longer sits under the A–Z index, so jumping to a letter is easier
- Library - The menu on a Featured section no longer jumps to the first section when a song ends
- Library - Album art in long playlists and lists no longer flashes the BTR AMP logo when a song ends
- Library - Sorting a manual playlist by File Name now works
- Library - A crash in playlist and Files lists when a song changed during a refresh
- Connect - A crash while browsing or syncing SMB shares
- CarPlay - A crash when CarPlay connected while the play queue was being rebuilt
- Player - A crash playing DSD files as PCM through a USB DAC during a route or sample-rate change
