- File playlists can now display custom cover art — add an image named to match the playlist file, or a cover image in the same folder.
- Synced lyrics now handle backing and simultaneous vocals correctly, and section markers like [Chorus] are no longer hidden.
- Play After Current Album — albums you queue up now play in the order you added them, even when shuffle is on.
- Volume Normalization — album gain is now used whenever an album plays through in order, so tracks within an album keep their intended relative loudness.
- Reduced memory usage, especially on older devices.
- Improved translations on empty-library screens across all 34 supported languages.
- Fixed a rare crash when seeking during a track change.
- Fixed a rare CarPlay crash when starting playback from deeply nested menus.
- The elapsed-time display now resets when you clear the queue.
